🥃 The “Synthesis”: Cask Composition
This release focuses specifically on French Limousin Virgin Oak paired with Oloroso Sherry Casks.
French Virgin Oak: Sourced from the Limousin forests, this wood is prized for its wide grain, which allows for faster interaction with the spirit, imparting herbaceous notes and structured tannins.
Oloroso Sherry: Adds the classic GlenAllachie weight—rich, dark, and nutty.
📝 Tasting Notes:
Nose: A burst of orange zest and maraschino cherries, followed by honeycomb, nutmeg, and a hint of mocha.
Palate: Intense and creamy. You’ll find heather honey and spiced orange (classic GlenAllachie) shifting into baked apple, winter truffle, and muscovado sugar.
Finish: Long and warming with hazelnuts, cinnamon, and a lingering roasted coffee (mocha) note.
