The Macallan Harmony Collection Vibrant Oak is a single malt, with an ABV of 44.2%, was matured in a combination of first-fill sherry-seasoned American oak casks and refill sherry casks. The cask selection was specifically chosen to highlight the classic American oak flavours of vanilla, citrus, and sweet oak.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Autumnal Leaf.

Nose: Notes of intense vanilla bean, sweet sherbet, and lime zest, followed by fragrant pears and a delicate vanilla sponge cake aroma.

Palate: Creamy vanilla panna cotta, buttery shortbread, lightly toasted coconut with almond brittle, apple, and sweet oak.

Finish: Medium, sweet, with a lingering vanilla presence.

The packaging is a key element of the Harmony Collection’s sustainable ethos. The Macallan Harmony Collection Guardian Oak presentation box and bottle labels are made from repurposed oak chippings, a byproduct of the cask-making process. The box features a beautiful illustration inspired by the Cirque du Soleil “SPIRIT” performance, with a human figure, “Ayla,” intricately intertwined with the branches of an American oak tree. This artwork symbolizes the connection between the natural world and human experience, and also incorporates peacock feathers, representing The Macallan’s natural colour.
