Macallan Classic Cut 2022
Cask Maturation: This expression was matured in a combination of different casks: European and American sherry-seasoned oak casks, as well as ex-bourbon casks. The goal of this combination is to balance the sweet, light notes from the bourbon casks with the depth and complexity from the sherry casks.
Flavour Profile: The Macallan Classic Cut 2022 edition is often described as having a distinct grapefruit note. Other tasting notes include a fresh fruit medley of grapefruit, peach, apple, and orange on the nose, with a palate of fresh fruit, caramel, a touch of chocolate, and a creamy, spicy finish.
Colour: The whisky has a golden butterscotch colour.
