Inspiration: The release is inspired by the traditions ofNew Zealand, one of the first countries to welcome the New Year and the ‘first light’ of dawn.
Artist Collaboration: The unique, multi-layered packaging features artwork by acclaimed New Zealand artistBonnie Brown, which depicts the transition from the New Year’s Eve celebration (fireworks, bonfires) to the golden light of the first sunrise.
Cask Maturation: It is matured in a harmonious combination ofsherry-seasoned European and American oak casks, along with a “sparing inclusion” ofAmerican ex-bourbon barrels.

Nose: Hints ofcaramel and fired icing sugar (suggesting Christmas pavlova and coconut), with a fleeting scent ofManuka honey, bright citrus peel, and toasted oak.
Taste: Richcaramel, mellow baking spices,vanilla ice cream or crème anglaise, pavlova,stone fruits, and a subtle hint of coconut and Manuka honey. Smooth and full-bodied.
Finish: Sweet and fruity with mellow spice, gentle oak, and toasted grains.
