The 11th release in our popular Teapot Dram series  – a bold, natural strength Highland single malt inspired by the distillery’s legendary “dramming days.” Exclusively matured in first-fill sherry casks and bottled at 59.7% ABV.

Tea Pot Dram Story:

Back in the day, distillery workers were given three drams straight from the first fill sherry sherry cask of their choice. Those left undrunk would be quietly poured into a tea pot in the kitchen to save for later.Over the time the tea pot filled with a rich mix of whiskies from the different casks. In honouring that tradition the Glengoyne introduced the Tea Pot Dram Series.

Tasting Notes

Nose:Dates, dark chocolate, lemon meringue, grilled peach, toasted nuts, dry sherry, and a wisp of incense.

Palate:Cherries, strawberry ice cream, blackberry jam, gingerbread, fudge, hazelnut spread, and dried apricot. Layers of sweetness balanced by oak tannins and subtle spice.

Finish:Long and evolving. Maraschino liqueur, Eton Mess, summer berries, and a gentle dryness with hints of plum skin and dark fruit.
