To ensure the whisky doesn’t drift too far into dessert territory, Ardnamurchan has anchored the final profile by blending in two fully matured standalone bourbon barrel casks. This choice is no afterthought. Those bourbon barrels bring backbone: vanilla, citrus brightness, and clean oak structure that lift and frame the Tokaji-finished component. The result is a whisky with balance—lush yet disciplined, indulgent yet clearly Ardnamurchan at its core.
