Being distilled in 1991 means it was made just two years before the distillery shut down in 1993, making it one of the final remaining artifacts of the Cambus spirit. The long maturation in a single bourbon cask allowed the character of the grain spirit to soften and develop incredibly complex, sweet, and creamy oak-driven notes.
