Harking from the Buffalo Trace Distillery, the most awarded distillery on the planet, Staggs use the distillery’s low rye mash bill and are roughly aged under 10 years. They are exemplary barrels that exhibit tremendous flavour and are subsequently in great demand by fans of the category. As a result of our longstanding relationship with the distillery, we had the privilege of evaluating a range of Stagg barrels, selecting this stellar example to be graced as a Nickolls & Perks exclusive. Barrel 34 is a 2015 vintage, aged for nine years, and bottled at the natural strength of 65.3% abv.
