The Macallan Harmony Collection Fine Cacao is part of the first Global Travel edition in a new limited annual release series, which shines a spotlight on sustainability journey and intrinsic connection to nature. Created using natural materials, the simple and beautiful packaging is 100% recyclable and is made using 100% green energy.

Inspired by Whisky Maker Polly Logan’s visit to Jordi Roca’s famed chocolate factory, Casa Cacao in Girona, this exquisite single malt offers a delightful whisky and chocolate pairing experience.

The Whisky:

Release: Macallan Harmony Collection Fine Cacao was released in 2022. Unlike the first release in the series, “Rich Cacao,” which was for domestic markets, Fine Cacao was a travel retail exclusive.

Inspiration: The whisky maker, Polly Logan, was inspired by a visit to Jordi Roca’s chocolate factory, Casa Cacao, in Girona, Spain. She sought to create a single malt with a distinct chocolate profile that would pair perfectly with fine chocolates.

Cask Selection: This whisky was crafted from a combination of European and American oak sherry-seasoned casks, carefully chosen to impart notes reminiscent of milk chocolate.
