The Macallan Folio 8 pays homage to a legendary 1988 advertising campaign called “The Colossus of Nose.” This playful advertisement likened the magnificent aroma of The Macallan to the ancient wonder, the Colossus of Rhodes.

Cask Selection: The Macallan Folio 8 is a single malt crafted from a selection of first-fill and refill European oak sherry casks. The choice of casks was made to create a profile that reflects the bold and prominent aromas that the “Colossus of Nose” campaign celebrated.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Ripe dried fruits, sweet berry compote with toffee, lemon peel, cinnamon, and a hint of anise.

Palate: Ginger, a burst of citrus, and sweet oak.

Finish: Long and rich with sweet oak spices.

ABV: 43%
